Breakfast is my primary meal. I had a turkey sandwich tonight. Probably eat some nuts and berries before bed with a cup of kombucha. The diabetic struggle is real. If I eat a smaller breakfast I eat a bigger dinner.
The closing was delayed for two weeks because no appraiser wanted to drive out there...
It has since been completed and it came in fine. I haven't been told when the signings will occur but it's just a matter of days. There's a fat check looming and the ex and I are drooling with anticipation. She's getting back all the money I owe her and all she's invested in this place and my place over the last year. She's filthy rich but it's mostly invested so she'll also be getting a much-needed cash influx.
I just bought a new/slightly used powerchair... The roommate moved in a couple days ago and I'm getting my booster shot tomorrow And that's the news from Lake Minneola

There is a thing called a “bridge loanâ€. It’s usually used for buyers of real estate. But I think in an emergency it could work for your benefit.

I'm okay. She paid for the new wheelchair and I've got $600 in the bank that should hold me until the closing. I'm used to living in poverty and the browbeating she gives me every time I ask for anything makes poverty more attractive than begging.
Loans don't work for me anyway, I could never afford to rebuild my credit after the bankruptcy so I'm not even allowed a credit card.

Browbeating...I don't get why, like are you supposed to pick up a sixteen pound sledge and go back into construction or something? You're disabled. In fact, you should be getting disability money right now.

I've been getting disability for 10 years. $1246 a month. Once in a while I need a little more than that for medical bills and such. She always comes through but it always comes with a lecture about spending too much, and being lazy, worthless and no account. Aaaaand how I could be doing better and doing more and how other wheelchair people can do all sorts of things without help...
But a better friend you'll never find...The girl is a force of nature!
I've been living here for free for over a year, all I pay is utilities. She has remodeled this place to my specs, cleaned up, painted, repaired and got my old place ready to sell, which involved drilling a new well.
For that, I'll take whatever spanking she decides to give me.

Is that how the accounting is done for Socialism? (I shouldn't ask, but are you into the spanking? )

Basically, I'm living the socialist dream.
Ideally, my stipend would be a bit more but I raised a kid on it and we never wanted for anything. Have you heard me complain all these years?
I've had a little help from my friends along the way but that's social-ism too.
And the spankings...No. Most emphatically no. But I will never escape them. She's three blocks away.
