yerba santa good for greying hair

I dont want to take a drug or particularly a seasoning that stimulates upregulation in melanocytes, Basal cell and squamous cell skin carcinomas can annoy you, though they are considered normal skin in Florida and SoCal, but melanoma are much more annoying!

Up here we worked in short sleeves in the yard without sunscreen, though sunny. We dont burn or tan or get sun damaged, we rust!

We aimed to assess the biological effects of Yerba Santa on hair pigmentation. Results E. angustifolium extract significantly increased melanin synthesis in the melanoma cell line through activation of the WNT/MITF/tyrosinase‐signaling pathway. In contrast, E. californicum had no effect on melanin synthesis...Application of the extracts to subjects who had gray beards demonstrated a reduced number of gray beard hair per year specifically with the E. angustifolium extract. A significant decrease in gray head hair was also observed after application of E. angustifolium extract. Upregulation of gene expression related to melanin production and WNT signaling was observed after the application of E. angustifolium extract. Sterubin was the most abundant flavonoid detected by UPLC in E. angustifolium extract.

Gee…..One would think that Yerba Santa would promote the graying of the hair.

Gray is the absence of melanin. I know that Santa is a myth, also a dependent Clause. grin

So, is a bowl of cereal soup?

Do wise asses go to heaven…,or do they go to hell?

Serious question here.

I’m guessing it depends on what flavor of religion you like?
