Same thought occurred to me about 3:30 PM, isn't that funny, 😆 it was on another forum but I never posted it...was gonna but forgot about it.
I guarantee you Rand Paul would be leading a delegation to withhold aid to California if The Big One happened, or maybe even CA-OR-WA altogether if a Pacific Cascadia type earthquake happened further North.

What do you think of when you hear the word "xylophilous"?

Here's what Ogden Nash thought:

Quote
Some primal termite knocked on wood
And tasted it, and found it good!
And that is why your Cousin May
Fell through the parlor floor today.

Xylophilous vs Coprophilous
What fungi grow on dung?
It would be a trick question if they asked: What fungi grow on wood? As they trickily misspelled Xylophillous with a double LL. And, student would be correct in choosing none of the below, if typos count, or speeling!

TAT

Quote
Correct option is B)
Epixylic fungi are the type of fungi which lives on the surface of the wood.
Coprophilous are type of fungi which grows on animal dung.
Keratinophilic fungi are those fungi which are responsible for the breakdown of keratin containing wastes and helps in breakdown of soil debris.
Xylophilous fungi are those fungi which grows on wood.
Therefore, the correct answer is option B.

Nancy Regan is getting the attention that she richly deserves. In a new book about Nancy titled, The Triumph of Nancy Reagan, it is revealed that when Nancy was promoting "Say No To Drugs!" she was addicted to uppers and downers.

I don’t know. Part of the underlying intent of the project is a sort of cultural exchange, which wouldn’t go far on Zoom. And as much as I don’t like the large expenditure of time and resources, and the consumptive footprint of the travel, there’s nothing like having someone with experience and knowledge guide you through a new concept in person.

The project budget includes amounts for folks from the other sites to visit us, as well, to share what they know.

This is the new economy we live in now, post-Trump.
First they bitch and moan about the shortage of applicants for the crappy low paying waitress jobs, then when a waitress does a fantastic job keeping customers happy, they fire her for getting too much money as a gratuity.
