when Nancy was promoting "Say No To Drugs!" she was addicted to uppers and downers.
Well, there is a HUGE difference between a rich White woman being addicted to prescription drugs she gets by doctor shopping, and a poor Person Of Color being addicted to those same drugs they get from a street businessman (their dealer).
The White lady goes to a fancy rehab resort, gets massages every day, eats some very nice food, learns to meditate, etc. The POC goes to jail. Including Arizona's chain-gangs working in 120 degree heat, or Riker's Island's notorious freezing cells in winter.
