Nationwide polls only show what Americans are thinking or feeling or believe or support or not. It’s quite simple. Whether their beliefs or feelings or thinking is different than yours, it’s no big deal. There’s been many times I felt different than what let’s say, a majority of Americans do or did. I just recognize that fact and move on.

I think the time for these hearings was shortly after the event happened. Most Americans have short memories. What is taking place today, i.e. inflation, thinning or flat wallets is much more important to them, particularly independents than any hearing on something that happened almost a year ago. What happened a year ago isn’t making it difficult to buy gas, food, clothes, housing, a car, toys for the kids for Christmas etc.

Today’s problems always replace yesterday’s problems for most of us. Yesterday’s problems are behind us; today’s problem is with us today and are causing us heartaches and heartburn today. Tomorrow, new problems will replace today’s which will become less to non-important as we face those new problems. This is a fact of life. Whether you recognize that or not is up to you.

Most independents have put Trump behind them. Nothing better shows this than the Virginia governor results. With Trump still president, in charge, Virginia independents voted for Biden 57-38. With Trump gone, no longer in charge, no longer president, basically ancient history for most independents, Virginia independents voted for Republican Youngkin 54-45. It is Biden and the Democrats in charge nowadays. It's Biden and the Democrats independents expect to resolve rising prices, inflation. Not to be stuck on the past. The old saying of what have you done for me today, not yesterday applies.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
