We have Solvang in Southern California. I suppose some immigrants just want their original culture, after they move to the US. It started in 1911, when a group of Danish immigrants bought up 9000 acres near Santa Barbara. Most of the residents now are not Danish, but the village is filled with Danish architecture and they have had several visits from Danish royalty! Fun place to visit, but it's more 1911 Denmark than modern Denmark. I've been to both.
Did I complain here about my Prius door lock cylinder? Toyota quoted me $723 for replacement. I ordered a new aftermarket one on ebay for $23. Took me about 5 minutes to install it. Works fine and looks like the original.
In other news does anyone have any information on Greger? He seems to have vanished from the site and as we all know he has been having not good health issues. I PM’ed him a while back but have heard nothing in response and the message has gone unread.
Should we be getting concerned?
Kenji, he's active on FB as of today. Maybe he's tied up with family and friends for the holidays.
