ah am so innocent of such things of which you speak, Phil!!! shocked

I was referring to some peppers I got a hold of one time (given to me by an old country woman to bring home and can). There was NO WAY to just wash the sting off. You didn't dare scratch ANYTHING on your body for hours afterwards.
I never in my life had anything so hot!

And I DON'T mean THAT kind of hot, Phil....sheesh...

My Habaneros, after a slow start, are now abundant and ripe. I bet they would make "memorable" poppers!

I finely chopped one with due caution and infused it into wine vinegar. The aroma brings a tear to the eyes. I couldnt help but sample the pepper flesh and a seed! Poppers indeed!

My first experience with hot peppers was from a cute and harmless looking ornamental pepper bush in our front yard in NOLA. The peppers seemed just the right size and shape to insert into ones nostril. My father was curious why I had the hose forcing water up one nostril and out the other.

In spite of this potentially aversive event, peppers are a staple of my consumption, though Mrs TAT claims that I burned off all my taste buds years ago.

For those bay area "popper" types, maybe habaneros could "enhance" an experience as it is well known that they can be "tasted" by all mucus membranes.

Dont think of it as pain, but rather a maximal excitation of a sensory nerve ending!

Phil and the poppers, an "original" short story in one part.

Phil was sure.

"Now you've asked for it, and I'll give it to you, because there ain't anything mean about me; but if you find you don't like it, you mustn't blame anybody but your own self."

Phil was agreeable. So Tom pried his mouth open and poured down the Popper.

Phil sprang a couple of yards in the air, and then delivered a war-whoop and set off round and round the room, banging against furniture, upsetting flower-pots, and making general havoc.

Next he rose on his hind feet and pranced around, in a frenzy of enjoyment, with his head over his shoulder and his voice proclaiming his unappeasable happiness.

Then he went tearing around the house again spreading chaos and destruction in his path. Aunt Polly entered in time to see him throw a few double summersalts, deliver a final mighty hurrah, and sail through the open window, carrying the rest of the flower-pots with him. The old lady stood petrified with astonishment, peering over her glasses; Tom lay on the floor expiring with laughter.

"Tom, what on earth ails that Bay Area resident/visitor?"

"I don't know, aunt," gasped the boy.

"Why, I never see anything like it. What did make him act so?"

"Deed I don't know, Aunt Polly; Bay Area residents/visitors always act so when they're having a good time."

Is Phil the one in the middle? That one's dressed more like a lawyer.

Actually isn't that Scoutgal?

And poppers are inhaled, not swallowed. Oh man, there is so much to teach. So now we have bathroom techinques down. Check. Poppers technique, check. I suppose you are going to want to know whether it is true that gay men are "larger" than straight men (it's true) wink
