8 to 1 decision! Trump may have appointed a bunch of them but they can't bring themselves to support his BS arguments. The opinion said he would have had to turn these records over to the Jan 6th committee even if he was still President, since Presidential records are the property of the American people (not that President) as per the Watergate records law.
This is very bad news for Trump and any of his staff who planned on pleading the 5th Amendment before the committee. With all of this documentation, the Justice Department will have the evidence of the crimes they conceal by claiming 5th Amendment protection. So they can't rely on a "nobody talks" defense any more. Instead, I think we will see the typical scramble to cooperate for immunity or lenience by the "little fish".
If I was Trump, I would be thinking of where in Argentina I want to create Mar-A-Lago South.
