The best thing about that civil investigation is that she is forcing Trump and his kids to give depositions under oath. It's a civil case now, but it's perjury to lie under oath before a judge, before congress, or in a deposition. So if they lie as usual during their depositions, it can become criminal real fast. This is why Trump's lawyers always try to prevent his testimony under oath: Because they know he can't stop himself from lying.

Their testimony before the Jan. 6th committee could have the same results. When you plead the 5th to everything, that means you believe you committed a crime and don't want to incriminate yourself. But now the committee is getting all the records from the archive, so they won't need testimony. They'll have everything to send to the Justice Department, which can freely prosecute everybody who admitted guilt by taking the 5th.

Eric Trump claimed the 5th over 500 times. In other words, he believes he is guilty of lots and lots of crimes.

Apparently the prosecution has just filed a 150 page document with the court containing a myriad of financial frauds committed by the Trumps over the years. These are specific instances of the crimes Conway told the world about years ago, with references to documents that prove the allegations. I think the Trump Organization is going to go the way of Trump University and the Trump Foundation, with all of the Trumps being banned as officers of any corporation.
