Now I’m not sure what is going on here. I read that 2 grand juries were impaneled in April of last year for Trump’s election interference here in Georgia. From then on as far as Georgia, Trump and election interference was concerned, I went by that. One thing is for certain, the Atlanta DA has kept a very tight lip.

That's typical of GOOD District Attorney's, Attorney Generals, prosecutors, etc. The ones who are just there for political purposes are always leaking stuff and even calling press conferences.

I read yesterday that Brad Raffensperger is now walking-back the "seriousness" of Trump's pressure to change the results - as if the call was more of a "Hi! How are you?" call.

Brad Raffensperger recorded the call. We all heard it. For Brad Raffensperger to now walk-back the seriousness of Trump's undue pressue is quite sickening.

There will probably be a time in the near future where Trump will wish he never ran for or became president.

Had he continued on with his reality TV show, he’d probably free and clear of all of this.

Raffensperger wants to get reelected. Democrats are probably not going to vote for him, so his only option is to try to appeal to Republican voters. But he's probably hosed if he has to run against other Republicans in a primary.

For sure Trump would have been MUCH better of if he had lost. I think that was his plan from the start, but he screwed up and won. He could have kept on with all his scams, plus had the credibility of having run for President. Winning was a disaster for him. He had no clue how to be a POTUS, so he just took the route he understood of mob boss.

Raffensperger has 4 other Republicans who have declared running for the Georgia secretary of state office. The GOP primary is 24 May.

Like I said, if his opponent Republicans don't drop out or publicly burst into a chorus of "Springtime for Hitler and Germany", he's hosed.

SoS Raffensperger is someone I don't understand. He is for the rule of law and for infringing on voting rights. How can he reconcile the two positions???? The new voting laws in GA were a direct result of the delusional belief by Trumpites there was widespread, in other times they used the word rampant, voter fraud, and yet he knows there was no such thing.

That motive is truly sick. Is someone THAT obsessed with being in the limelight to throw-away morals, values, and law JUST to be re-elected?

Doing so, in and of itself, speaks to Brad's character.

His Party does tend to attract opportunistic scumbags. Do they all believe the voter fraud lie? Probably very few do. But their future political careers seem to depend on them saying they do right now. But that may be a miscalculation. So far a bunch of Trump supporters have lost their election bids. I guess we will have to see what happens to Liz Cheney in November. She has been censured by the Wyoming GOP, but I wouldn't be surprised if she runs as an Independent and a lot of Democrats vote for her.
