Uh-huh…simple.

Yep. If you want to start a civil war, that will do it.

How would that start a civil war? Hmm

Defining “the sides” might be problematic.

No not really, look for the side that hates America, and loves Trump. The “other side” is easy to pick out. smile

I guess you didn't read my post about my friend.

Here's a consideration - I assume that you feel comfortable that where you live is solidly on your side. Of course, there is also a significant population there that is on the other side, so they will have to leave. In order to sit down like adults and figure out how to split the sheets, there is going to have to be buyout - we being in a Capitalist economic system and all.

What do you fancy that will look like functionally? Can you imagine being on the side that has to leave? What about moving logistics and expenses?

Why would there be a buyout? Conservatives maintain they are perfectly happy with how their current state government operates - completely and woefully ignorant of the fact that blue states fund them.

Okay, the concept is clearly out of my pay grade. I look forward to the roll-out!

People don’t (always, or often) select their place of residence by the political stance of the region.I’d be willing to say it’s the opposite.

I live where I live because I have family, friends, and history here; because I love the landscape. Because I am a liberal, I contribute to a small purple dot in a sea of red. And that goes, as well, for most of my family, and, yes, some farmers I know.

You want to kick me out of my home, you’re going to have to pay me a sh*tpot of money. And if you try it with a multi-generational farmer, yes, there might be a confrontation.

When I move it will be be my choice, to my selected new location.
