the legitimate political discourse thing is just another Republican lie which I actually suspect they believe. They are deluded. The second civil war may, or may not, happen but, I think, the military are proven that they will stick with gov (so far). There may be, however, individual members of the military which may take a different stance. Hopefully they are in a minority.
I have noticed, however, that the second civil war is gaining in discussions. Hopefully, again, its because somebody else has smelled the roses and not because its becoming more supported.
Oh, its really one of them "in the fullness of time" things. (again, hopefully)

Oh, its really one of them "in the fullness of time" things. (again, hopefully) I keep saying that since there's no borders drawn, that if a "war" breaks out, it will be a lot more like Northern Irelands "Troubles", a long series of random acts of terrorism all over, skirmishes, attacks, shootings, bombings. There's no "state armies", there's ad hoc private militias, there's no North vs South and declarations of secession, there's private donors outfitting groups dedicated to astro-turf "causes". But make no mistake, these odd bedfellows all believe that they have a shot at overthrowing the government, overturning elections and dismantling the democratic process, and they've invested a lot of dough already. And they expect results for all that money. War of some kind IS going to come.

There is no need for 'war' because to end the 'war' will take talks anyway. Just cut to the chase now

I guess it comes down to what the definition of war is. When I think of war, it’s two opposing organized sides each fighting for domination for the purpose of imposing some form of controlling government. What’s bizarre about the current turmoil is that the motive of the rebels seems to be the destruction of government, with no plan for a substitution. Even the “leaders†have no agenda, save personal power, which they get from disruption of the status quo and the temporary openings that creates for ‘cheating the system’. Seems like the Haasian version of random acts of terrorism is already a reality, but where’s it headed? Stay tuned for the next exciting season of Zombie Uprising. Lord of the Flies At an allegorical level, the central theme is the conflicting human impulses toward civilisation and social organisation—living by rules, peacefully and in harmony—and toward the will to power. Themes include the tension between groupthink and individuality, between rational and emotional reactions, and between morality and immorality.

The really strange thing about it all is that BOTH sides are supporting the constitution - BOTH! Both are claiming that what they want to do is to 'fix' our government.
I have also noticed, however, that there are some, in the Senate, who are beginning to speak out after long periods of silence. Not many, but some! This is, I suspect, a good thing?
