Speaking of Jenner, Ricky Gervais did a nice standup set with a few digs at Jenner back in 2018. It's on Netflix right now, and I recommend it. It's mostly about the ultra-woke and their lack of a sense of humor.

It's mostly about the ultra-woke and their lack of a sense of humor. But there has always BEEN an "ultra-woke", even as far back as the days of my hippie youth, and I am quite sure such people existed in antiquity, as far back as the Roman Empire. Human nature has not changed all that much, ya know. Ultra-wokeness is nothing more than another form of authoritarianism...doesn't matter which flavor, or if it's red or blue, or even green. The finger wagging moralistic knee jerk reactionaries on the political Right are every bit as "woke" to the tenets of their causes as the ultra-woke on the Left, and if one allows it to fester and ferment enough, one begins to see a "horseshoe" effect where the extremes of the political Left and Right come close to completing a circle. It may not be perfectly horseshoe shaped, and such a "circle" might not be perfectly round, but the idea is, the two extremes come very close to meeting each other and blurring the ability to perceive very much difference other than their pet peeves. Their finger wagging is the same, the tone of their homilies sound every bit as sing-songey, the pressure to shut off critical thinking is the same and the retributions meted out to camp followers who deviate from the core are the same. It's fundamentalism. It is brutish dogma. It is lemming worthy.

I’m impressed. I start one thread aboutOlympians, and you all turn it to greed, LBGTQ+, Caitlin What’sit, Ricky Gervaise and political divisiveness.
If there’s a plan to fund an RR follow-up, be prepared for it to contain three old copies of Scientific American, a couple of Matchbook cars, two Tootsie Rolls, and a Mallowmar..

Well, we're all fairly old. Old folks tend to ramble on about whatever.
