I was on the phone yesterday changing cell service from Verizon to T-Mobile, and when the call center guy (sounded like in Africa) asked for my birth date, he replied with a sound of awe in his voice, "You have seen much life!" I said, "What?" He said, "You have seen much life!"

I laughed and said, "Are you saying I'm old!?"

He replied very seriously, "Oh no, sir! I think you must have seen very much change since 1955..."

I recall thinking that about old people myself.
