You probably are already aware, but here’s the latest from RCP on DeSantis vs. whoever.

It certainly does look like DeSantis will win easily. At least as of today.

I’ve spent time going back over the house races today, the competitive/at risk seats have changed. We now have 40 such seats currently held by 27 Democrats and 13 Republicans. Safe seats are now 177 for the Democrats, 174 for the Republicans. With New Hampshire, Florida, Missouri and Louisiana not having completed the redistricting process, today it looks like a 7-10 seat GOP pickup which would give them control of the house. The senate hasn’t changed. The Democrats look good in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, but not so good in Georgia. That still boils down to a net gain of 1 seat for the Democrats.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
