I think one order of business is to attract new Ranters. Adding Disqus might be a consideration. However, Disqus would be akin a Pandora's box and a fire hose combination. Pandora's box because more moderation would be needed. A fire hose because literally tens of thousands would come.

Then we have to ask, does RR want to be subscription or ads-revenue based for sustainability? As new Ranters means more posts which means more bandwidth, which means more costs.

Or, If we're good with how things are currently, then nothing needs to change.
