YouTube is 100% owned by Alphabet (formerly known as Google).

Quote
"Don't be evil" is a phrase used in Google's corporate code of conduct, which it also formerly preceded as a motto. Following Google's corporate restructuring under the conglomerate Alphabet Inc. in October 2015, Alphabet took "Do the right thing" as its motto, also forming the opening of its corporate code of conduct.
From Wikipedia

There is a YouTube post from Naomi SexyCyborg that proves YouTube is suppressing her videos. She describes herself as a "Chinese Lesbian with Big Boobs" which is quite accurate, but she has never put any nudity in her posts, or any sexual content. She reviews tech stuff, and does a pretty good job of it. Many claim "the algorithm" takes videos out of the Google search results, as if YouTube has no control over their own software. But her post shows countless cases of YouTube suppressing her videos or banning them, even though other posters can post her videos and they stay up or even appear first in the search order! So apparently "the algorithm" in this case is simply: "Suppress Naomi".

She's not bitter about it. But she does say that YouTube cheats their content providers out of their income, just like any other corporation.

WHY DID AN ANTISEMITIC CHRISTIAN ZIONIST HAVE THE CHUTZPAH TO DECLARE THAT HE’D BE LEADING A HOLOCAUST MARCH?

Quote
Christian Zionist antisemitism

Evans’ brand of antisemitism, masked as philosemitism and enthusiastic support for Israel, is common amongst Christian Zionist leaders. These leaders tend to believe Jewish ingathering in Israel is key to hastening the End Times, in which Jesus will return to Earth to bring salvation to Christians while non-Christians, including Muslims and Jews, will either accept Jesus as their Savior or face eternal damnation and physical annihilation.

If we think our politics are confusing, imagine what it must be like in Israel.
How does one recover from an in-house Holocaust denying antisemite with a hotline to at least one major Israeli political party?

That's the key, here. Google is a corporation, and in any major corporate structure it is hard to maintain ethical neutrality. YouTube, like other social media conglomerates, has a great deal of incentive to "de-monetize" some posters and monetize others. And it is pretty sloppy about it, frankly.

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

I see all manner of goofballs and clowns making millions on Youtube. So one big tittied girl thinks she's not getting her fair share? Should she be a millionaire for what she does? Should any of them?

Probably some of the pornography content creators I watch are making better money than others too, maybe congress should get on top of that.

She actually has a very realistic attitude about the whole thing. She spends a lot of time talking about corporations basing all decisions on money. Her only "mission" is to point out to naive google fans that despite their mission statement, google is no different. And you could say the same thing about all sorts of occupations. Should men make millions for playing a game? Should people make millions for singing songs? For being great conmen? For stealing catalytic converters? Telephone spamming?
