I'm disabled too, and also don't get paid to take care of myself. But I take very good care of myself anyway.
I'm unaware of any Republican plans to snatch benefits from Veterans and the disabled.
We've also seen and heard plans to defund the police. That's probably not happening either.
No no, you don't understand yet...there's a VA program for spouses or other family members who care for a 100% service connected disabled vet. It's not much, a small stipend, but since for us every bit counts, and since I can't go anywhere for more than a couple of hours at a time, that limits the work I can do, plus if she becomes chronically ill, which happens from time to time, and I then have to stop and drop everything.
When Trump's gang of three attempted to take over running the VA, the first thing that they wanted to do was start cutting pensions, disability and other bennies.
That was the Mar-A-Lago Three we were reading about back around 2017-2018-2019.
