I would wager more than half of all voters don’t even know the name of their congressman

I have no idea who my congressman might be. Probably a Republican, probably not who I voted for but I don't know what his or her name might have been either. I don't need to know any names, I vote strictly by party and to the best of my knowledge, I have never voted for a Republican.

But even if the guy I voted for won, I wouldn't know it and wouldn't know his name. I'm a big picture guy...I don't sweat the details. And I certainly don't invent details or make up horror stories if the guy in the blue hat doesn't always get elected.

My city and county are Republican-run too. The county does a great job at everything they do and I cannot begin to say enough good about my diverse little town's government, if they have any fault, it's that they try to please too many of us and sometimes stretch themselves a bit thin. I'm thrilled with my state services too, even after all these years under the teabagger Scott and now the Trumpish DeSantis.

Seems like the unhappiest folks on this board are from blue states. I guess they're sad that we don't have all the good things they have.

Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...
