Five filthy treasonous Republican House Members (McCarthy, Jordan, Perry, Biggs, and Brooks) were issued subpoenas yesterday by their own branch of government. Wanna bet these “law and order” Republicans defy their subpoenas?  That's because congressional subpoenas have all the enforcement teeth of a chalk scrawl on a driveway or a sternly worded letter of concern by Susan Collins. Then Republicans should remember that if they ever control the House again.

Actually they do have some teeth. Politicians are just afraid to bare them. Congress has some law enforcement officers who do have the power to arrest congressmen, confine them, etc. They also can refer subpoena violators to the Justice Department for prosecution. That's exactly what's happening to Bannon. His Contempt of Congress trial starts on July 18th.

Politicians are just afraid to bare them. You spelled Democrats wrong. I guarantee you Republicans WILL attempt to USE congressional powers to arrest anyone who defies one of their subpoenas. They. can't. wait. to do it.

Another good one for the memory trove. We're two dogs past Gruffy (Jack Russell that I fondly remember almost as a brother) but I still tear up a bit (with warm feelings) for that one.

Life is short, and dog's lives are even shorter. It's a sad thing our best friends live so much shorter lives than us.
So I see Madison Cawthorn gets to "spend more time with his family" come January. Anybody outside of Congress would have been fired long ago for his behavior.
