Holding that Georgia seat is an important part of my prediction for a senate pick up of a single seat.
Various signs and portents say it could be a pick-up of as many as 3 seats. My guess is that the stars would have to align perfectly for that and since I'm not much of an astrologer someone else will have to compile that information. I'd look closely at which planets are in retrograde before and during the elections as well as the phases of the moon. That Venus has been in retrograde currently might speak to a surge in hate crimes.
Dark forces are at work in these times, unleashed by a modern Sun King who worshipped chaos. He is de-throned but not destroyed...banished, like Cthulhu to a city in the sea, he could still rise again. The stuff of nightmares, surely, but unlikely. His age is past, his power waning.
If names have power, then the ascendant prince-of-darkness may be inevitable.
