I did 30+ years in the construction industry, in the hot Florida sun. I have little sympathy for the woes of the white-collar crowd.
Looks to me like you're watching teevee and eating bob bons while you ride your yacht to work....

68K is unimaginable wealth to me. In my entire career I seldom made over $25K. But you've never worked a blue-collar job have you?
Never had to ply the trades, dig ditches, learn welding, carpentry or mechanics...
White-collar work is defined by what you do, not how much you earn.

Sometimes both...sometimes neither. I always enjoyed my work, it was physical, and required a lot of skill and techniques honed over a lifetime. I did the clerical work too, after the physical part was done I came home and did the billing, accounting, estimating, made sales calls. collection calls, and made the schedule. That part was kind of like "working from home". Except it didn't actually pay anything.

What is great about Republicans is, because they're only concerned about the rich, they give no thought to the peons. So, because everything they need to happen requires peonage, there are a lot of invisible eyes and ears that can play attention to their plotting. It's like Hercules Mulligan and the British. He could spy on the British officers because they paid him no nevermind.
Cassidy Hutchinson was in the room where it happened. And, and apparently resented the heavy-handedness with which they tried to manipulate her. That's a volatile combination, and I think it just exploded.
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.
Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

What is great about Republicans is, because they're only concerned about the rich, they give no thought to the peons. All Republicans or just some of them? Is Cassidy Hutchinson a Republican who is also concerned only with the rich? I'd be surprised if Mark meadows would hire a Democrat as a top aid...Is she rich? Probably far better off than most Americans. When I think of peons, aids top advisors in the Whitehouse is not among the job descriptions I imagine for them. Are some Democrats also more concerned about the rich than the peons or is power and greed never a possibility when you wear the blue beret? Some Republicans are bad, some are not, but it's best we paint them all one color to make them more easily despicable in the eyes of the righteous. I suggest that Ms Hutchinson is basically an honest person and that her chosen party affiliation does not make her anything in particular. Neither a hater of peons nor a lover of the rich. Being republican doesn't make them racists either. It doesn't make them misogynists. Doesn't make them homophobes. Doesn't make them all treasonous traitors who hate this country.

Just exactly what are the values of Republicans, Greger? There's are reason why stereotypes exist. Well, as of the day before yesterday, if you're one of them "over-ejamucated college kids" your views had better DAMN WELL reflect what Ron DeSantis thinks ---- or there's gonna be some trouble! Florida Gov signs law requiring students, faculty be asked their political beliefsTalk about a chilling effect, this stuff is straight outta the John Birch Society and it exceeds their wildest dreams. But hey, DeSantis is okay, right? He's harmless!

For the record DeathSantis is only +1 over Christ currently, and if DeathSantus doesn’t win re-election, there is no POTUS run.
