Trophy Wife. Verifiable nutcase. She is one of the right-wing nuts who deserve most of the scorn you have for all conservatives. If the tabloids are to be believed anyway. Hats off to Clarence for landing that one...he's not a rapper or a basketball player but he got himself a white blond floozy.
Right-wingism absolutely baffles me. But I don't feel like Clarence would fall for gaudy politics like that. Not his cup of tea, so to speak. He's more the "rock-ribbed republican" type. A genuine conservative. I trust him to vote against anything I would vote for if there is a religious or ideological lean involved.
But I don't think that makes him a bad person. Or a traitor to his country.
Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...

Clarence might be a "traitor to his race", but I think that kind of racial politics is mostly nonsense. But he IS a traitor to the constitution and the ideals of the people who wrote it. The were pretty adamant that church and state had nothing to do with each other. They knew all about a state religion, given England's history of conflict because of intertwining the two. (Marjorie Taylor Green needs to study just a tiny bit of history!)
The problem is that the US government can't promote any religion over any other, so once you give one religion special powers over secular matters, all religions are entitled to those powers. This will lead to all sorts of mischief, when we have to allow Muslim, Hindoo, Scientology, Satanism, etc. public monuments, prayers in schools, religious holiday exemptions, religious accommodations that go against public safety, and so forth. Evangelicals need to be careful what they wish for.

Even Jelly Kools and Funny Mentalists are still convinced that "only the REAL religions" will be allowed entree and that the lesser religions will still be barred...because...because...well...just because. (shrugs) Because Baybay Jeebus sez so.

Clarence might be a "traitor to his race", but I think that kind of racial politics is mostly nonsense... Is it? Conservatives, have been known to cheat black people of their proper political representation, curtail their civil rights, slash programs that help minority businesses and poor people, invent phrases like ‘race-neutral’ to hang a veil over rank discrimination using racist ‘dog-whistling’ to reach their base, embrace the likes of Candace Owens, Ben Carson, Tim Scott, former Representative Mia Love, Daniel Cameron and Clarence Thomas - all whom are representative of black Americans who see themselves unlike other Black Americans. These same black politicians embrace the dominant white philosophy and give short shrift to African-Americans by showing strong support for values that do not necessarily represent black American interests and often hurt the African American cause for their ongoing quest for equality, because these folks listed above desire the approval of their white peers and have bought into the idea that they're "not like the others."

Trophy Wife. Verifiable nutcase. And former "supposedly deprogrammed" cult member. Ex-cult member Ginni Thomas may have fallen back into old habits with QAnon-backed conspiracy theories Founded in 1974 by John Hanley Sr., Lifespring held training seminars to teach its members "self-confidence, self-esteem, lowered job stress, a heightened sense of control in life, and a more positive and pleasurable range of events and experiences in their lives," according to the now-dissolved group's website.
Thomas became involved in the 1980s. But shortly after, the group garnered controversy when reports emerged of unsavory practices and several trainees dying, according to a 1987 article in The Washington Post in which Thomas discussed how the group pushed her away from her loved ones.
She eventually left the group after being "deprogrammed" and became a passionate anti-cult activist in the 1980s and '90s. Heh...looks like the deprogramming didn't quite "take" as well as some had hoped!
