Just spoke to Kris for awhile. He said no ferry employee was in the fromt as is normally the case because the captain did not give the usual heads up that the ferry was about to land. The crew was still in the “dog house” where they hang out while nothing is going on during the crossing. Kris said the captain didn’t even sound the emergency alarm that something was even wrong. and that the captain didn’t follow a lot of procedures even if the issue was mechanical - if that is even what caused the incident to occur in the first place. Being in the dog house, the deck crew had no idea the ferry was even approaching Fauntleroy. Kris said that the crash sounded like a bomb went off. When he came out of the dog house, he said the ferry jolted to right from bouncing off if the dolphin. Kris said the Seattle Bomb squad came and investigated as well because there was a lot of metal and concrete all over the front of the ferry from hitting the dolphin. The entire crew had to stay four hours past their quitting time giving interviews, taking a breathalyzer test, and a urine test. Then on Friday, during the first run, the replacement ferry broke down at the first stop due to steering issues and was out of service for six hours. So far so good this morning. Then again we haven’t landed in Fauntleroy yet.

Lieutenant Uhura died in Silver City yesterday. A good friend of mine is her son.
Why that should matter is not a thing that I know...

I seen that she died. I was a big fan of the original Star Trek series. I never cared for all the spin offs that followed it. The original series definitely did go where no man had gone before, Lt. Uhura was a big part of that.
It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Pity Joe Biden just killed al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. Now, Donald Trump won't be able to have a golf tournament with him.

I wonder if the ferry captain was suffering from Long Covid symptoms or just hung over. Lots of brain fog going around these days. Lots and lots.

The Captain resigned Monday 08/01/22. Not sure how that helps him.

Well, he doesn't get fired at least. He will never work as a ship captain again, but maybe he could get a job at 7-11. Or maybe it's time to move to Florida and retire.

Oh my! Alex Jones had a really bad, horrible day in a court trial today. The trial concerns the exact amount of damages Jones is liable for over defaming the parents of the Sandy Hook massacre victims, whose children he claimed were crisis actors staged by the government. He was found liable for the underlying defamation last year. Apparently, the digital contents of Alex Jones' phone (text, emails) for the past two years we dropped, by error, into a shared file used by both sides to exchange information. The plaintiff's lawyer in the case used the information to show the court that Alex Jones committed perjury. The plaintiff's lawyer brought this information to Alex's attention while Alex was on the witness stand. The plaintiff's lawyer asked Alex Jones, "Do you know what perjury is?" Do you know where I got this. Mr. Jones, did you know 12 days ago your attorneys messed up and sent me an entire digital copy of your entire cell phone, with every text message you’ve sent for the past two years? And when informed, did not take any steps to identify it as privileged, or protected in any way? And as of two days ago, it fell free and clear into my possession. And that is how I know you lied to me when you said you didn’t have text messages about Sandy Hook. Did you know that? BUT!!! That's not even the worst part! The phone also had child sexualized images on it as well. Tsk, tsk, kiddie porn Alex? Ya' pervert! The J6 Committee has already subpoenaed Jones' phone records from today's trial so they can review the files for J6 material. I'm sure the DoJ will discuss the kiddie porn matter with Alex as well.
