They vote differently, because they think differently. They think differently because they're paranoid and believe in imaginary alternate reality which have no basis in verity at all. Those two facts are indicative of mental illness. Voting for a narcissistic, lying, con man because of what he'll do to their perceived enemies (black Americans, immigrants, gay people, non religious people) is not emotionally healthy or sane - it's just not.

Oh, I didn't realize that what they were doing at the Capitol was voting, but now that I've looked on the innernets, I see that there's other ways of voting and you're right!

Obsolete tactic: Domestic terrorist sniper firing from a hidden location? For several years law enforcement has had the technology right off the shelf to install microphones around a city (like on cell phone towers) that can triangulate a single gunshot to within a couple of feet in less than a second. So 2nd amendment fantasies about sniping from rooftops could get those snipers killed or caught very quickly.

Not many cities have installed them, but if that was perceived as a tactic it could be shut down immediately. Not to mention camera drones seeing the guy and SWAT teams with grenade launchers.

I don't recall any rooftop snipers at the Capital in January. What I saw was a bunch of idiot rioters sent to cause a ruckus by a disgruntled and defeated politician.

They changed nothing besides their own criminal records.

Some Democrats seem to want the shooting of Democrats to begin just so they can say they told me so. Or so they can start shooting at the hated republicans...I'm not sure which.

Get a gun. Go shoot people. Observe the consequences.

Were there rooftop snipers? Was anybody shot? Were any elections overturned? Was there any chance of them hanging Mike Pence or overturning any elections...?

• They brought a gallows
• They overwhelmed law enforcement - so they were not going to be stopped

So Mike pence was hung and the election overturned?

Did the rioters go to jail?

Did the battle continue? Were The Proud Boys sent to the rooftops to battle the National Guard?

Were US Armed Forces defeated by a ragtag band of lightly armed militiamen?

What stopped them? They overwhelmed law enforcement after all? They were not going to be stopped....

How in the world is Biden our president today given the overwhelming forces that attacked the Capital on jan 6?

Short answer is that the attacking forces were underwhelming and never had a chance of doing anything more than causing a ruckus. If they had hung Mike pence some of them would now be serving life for capital murder.

Which is what's gonna happen every time some idiot partisan declares war against the US and starts shooting.

They are electing representatives in local and State elections that might make the effort pay off. Jan 6 was just the beginning. How long did slavery brew before the Civil War? All it took was one election to set it off. Those conditions are being reconstituted. You may live to see it blossom.
