I think we're up to five grand juries, aren't we? New York x2, DC, Georgia, Florida? Who am I leaving out?
A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.
Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

> Rudy pleads the fifth
Or maybe not. In an interview a while back the interviewer asked Rudy if he was going to be thrown under the bus, and Rudy said: "I've got insurance."
In organized crime-speak, that means he has some dirt on Trump he can use to make a plea deal for a lower sentence. He testified before the grand jury for six hours. Does it really take six hours to say "I plead the fifth." 400 times? Of course, Rudy has zero credibility, so maybe his "dirt" is actually BS. Trumpers tend to confuse the two.

This should be entertaining!
Trump and Rudi...what a pair. Never a dull moment with these two around.

Welp, ol' Joe is going to forgive $10K of my student loan, $20K for Pell Grant. I don't know if my Pell Grant qualifies because when I graduated from college, I rolled all three loans into one Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) consolidation loan. This particular loan is 9% interest, has been for 28 years of its life and it doesn't qualify for the 0% interest deferment as part of the CARES Act. The interest is 4x principle currently. I applied to have this loan forgiven on July 26, 2022. The Department of Ed said I would hear back in 15 days. It's been 28 days. My hope is they're working on getting it to go away - because there was no immediate "NO!" from them.

Ouch!
As a Boomer, I'd like to personally apologize and accept complete responsibility for creating the bullsh*t situation we all find ourselves in today.
I don't think any of us meant for it to turn out this way.

Fox News Host Compares Forgiving Student Debt to Giving Addicts ‘Another Bump of Heroin’
If college loan forgiveness for the middle class is a bump of heroin to college grads, the 2017 Trump Corporate Tax Cut is a continuous fentanyl drip to corporations.

Hooboy...
The Republican's are going wild over ol' Joe's student loan announcement.
They're screaming and hollering that the forgiveness amounts to $300 billion. Yet none of them said nary a word when Trump's 2017 tax plan give to the rich who got 87% of the tax break benefit, while the rest of us 331m peons split the other 13% among all us - and cost $600 billion.
