Former First Lady's Press Sec Stephenie Grisham said official records would "just disappear.". The Trump White House was so chaotic that there was always a new crisis and folks just forgot about that they were looking for, apparently.

I believe, this election is democracy vs autocracy. This election is basically a referendum on the handling of the government by Democrats during Biden's first two years. Trump's meddling with candidates has cost the Republicans any chance of retaking the Senate and the loss of the House will be primarily because a lot of Democrats are retiring. Only a relative handful of House seats will actually flip, 20 tops out of 435. So we know pretty much how it's going to turn out already. A split decision. 2024 on the other hand may be exactly what you describe. I don't think democracy itself is under any threat, even if an autocrat like DeSantis is elected he will serve his term and face whatever re-election challenges exist when it ends. Just as Trump did.

It's a midterm, Rick. You can claim it's the most important election of our lifetimes, but it isn't.
Most of the seats in congress will remain exactly as they are, only a handful will flip. Many of them due to retirements.
Dems will make gains in the senate, Reeps in the House...it's stupid simple day-in-day-out politics.
The results have been accurately forecast here for months with an eye on every metric you can imagine and through a non-partisan lens.
This election isn't a referendum on anything really, and not much will be decided or changed by it. It will put an end to the Trump investigations and let that dead and muchly beaten carcass rot away as it should. Zombie politics doesn't suit the Democrats.
Their egalitarian nature has been overtaken by a them versus us mentality.

And so, knowing the results ahead of time, do you feel vindicated? Or devastated?
Did democracy or autocracy win if we assume the results predicted turn out to be true...which they will.
Because it's just a midterm and they are extremely predictable. More so than presidential years...midterms are playoff games...Presidential race is the Superbowl.

One of the documents seized during the MAL doc fetch is a document contained in Box 11. Roger Stone's Clemency which was never used was top of the stack. I wrote what this never used Stone clemency could mean in the Muller Report thread. The second document underneath the Stone clemency is listed as President of France. Rolling Stone magazine reports tonight that Trump told who ever would listen that he had "intel" on President Emmanuel Macron and Trump knew "naughty" and "illicit details about the love life" of Macron. Ten days ago, longtime associate Michael Cohen said that the only reason why Trump took the docs was to blackmail people - including the US government.

This new information on Macron makes me think the rumored Trump "Pee-Pee tape" is even more real than ever imagined.

Yeah, sketchy reports from a music magazine make even the most imaginary claims seem real.
