will be put down forthwith. Insurrections are usually antigovernment affairs and the government outguns the insurrectionist by a wide margin.
As far as appeasing Trump and his followers...? Trump's fate is in the hands of the courts and his followers will continue to vote Republican at every opportunity. Whether he is on the ticket or not. What would constitute "appeasement"?
