I fully expect that the DOJ will appeal this one. I suspect that there are any number of folks in gov that really don't want a new group of strangers to start thumbing through the secret papers that Trump tried to steal. Trump, and the Republicans, have put a pile of judges into office and its reasonable to assume that some of them will take care of Trump for the opportunity to be a judge for life. On the other hand we have seen a number of Trump appointed judges ignoring the American master of crime.

Then there are all the secret empty envelopes. I also expect that the contents were probably sold off to the highest bidder and Trump got more money to waste and lose. From what I can find out he certainly isn't spending a whole lot of money paying his bills!

Judge Aileen’s asinine ruling is a mute point now. Those docs are only viewable on a need-to-know basis.

Trump is back to claiming that the FBI planted docs in their "search."

Someone should ask the orange clown why is he asking Judge Aileen Cannon for the DoJ to return the documents - if they are "planted."

As for claiming he has a right to secret documents the FBI planted, he doesn't value coherency. He just spouts a bunch of BS, and hopes a few people will latch on to a bit they like, and send him money. They latest cool thing is that a grand jury is subpoenaing his "Save America PAC" minions, for soliciting $250 million from his supporters suckers to fight election fraud. Of course, none of that money went to fight election fraud because he never paid his lawyers anything. DOJ has a name for that: It's called "criminal wire fraud".

And all his "lawyers" are either enjoying their turn under the bus, or about to go there. I think Trump-support is going to supplant cutting Medicare as the Third Rail of American politics.

Here's a theory that is being floated around:

Trump believes he won the 2020 election and is keeping the docs safe from the deep state and the Biden Administration. The "problem" with this theory is how Trump stored and kept the docs.

Apparently he had given all classified docs over to Kash Patel and John Solomon to find the proof the deep state was simply out to persecute him for his affinity to have Russians surround his campaign in 2016 and seek their help to win. Apparently video had both singly or together entering and leaving "secure location" housing classified docs, you have to wonder .... where's the beef?

Yeah it should be obvious to everyone since Trump is a narcissist, he would have saved everything which praised him as savior of the universe. He probably has video of Sen Cruz, Graham, et al who have grovelled before him.

Haberman's latest has the most interesting story. Remember when not just me but several lunatic watchers (and some military types) claimed there was every reason to believe Trump may not leave the WH and people kept saying won't happen in America .... never happened in America .... this is America .... etc, well apparently Trump told aides he wasn't leaving WH because election was stolen. Yikes!!!! Double Yikes!!!! This is only to point out .... we are not in normal times ..... there is nothing normal about Trump.

I now state he will do anything and everything to regain occupancy of WH. Oh ... he already has led a failed insurrection, and he has now set up political apparatchiks in the guise of election integrity units to overturn any real losses. Sure the real winners can go to the courts, and in some cases Trump appointed courts which may have no integrity and have their cases thrown out or and this is the more salient feature, win their cases but the courts have no mechanism to enforce the court orders. Imagine a court saying you can't overthrow the voters and the election commissions say ... won't obey since the court is a fake.

Did Trump leave the Whitehouse? Yes. Despite what he told his aides, he very much left the Whitehouse and now resides in Maralago.

Unless he is disqualified by the courts he has every right to seek the office of President again.
