Trump's latest court filing: DONALD J. TRUMP’S RESPONSE IN OPPOSITION TO THE UNITED STATES’ MOTION FOR A PARTIAL STAY PENDING APPEAL I. INTRODUCTION This investigation of the 45th President of the United States is both unprecedented and misguided. In what at its core is a document storage dispute that has spiraled out of control, the Government wrongfully seeks to criminalize the possession by the 45th President of his own Presidential and personal records. Trump thinks that the classified docs that he sticky-fingered are his own "Presidential and personal records" - like these super secret "need-to-know" docs are some sort of momentos that Trump gets to keep just for being POTUS. The guy reasons like an eight year old child. What a sad and sick clown.

DOJ has agreed to one of Trump's lawyers' picks for Special Master. It's a retired FISA court judge, (as I predicted). So someone who spent years protecting secrecy, and who is highly qualified. I doubt this is going to work out well at all for Trump. For one thing, I think he's going to decide in the first 10 minutes that executive privilege is only owed to the executive branch, not a former President. So much for all those completely bogus claims. Then he'll say there can be no lawyer-client privilege in government documents that were not created by Trump or his lawyers. So much for all the national defense documents, including all classified docs. Then he'll have a look at the small pile the FBI already sorted out. This might take him a few days. These could all be excluded and go back to Trump, but I'm sure he will be made aware of any evidence of "crime exception" rendering privilege being pierced in any document that shows an attorney was involved in criminal activity with Trump. And most, if not all, of Trump's lawyers WERE involved in crimes with Trump, although evidence of that may not be in any of those documents.
So to sum it up, an expert is going to sort through just Trump's personal seized documents looking for evidence the FBI can use at Trump's trial!
And to show how bad Trump's legal team is, their response to the FBI's latest is to claim "the Archivist shall take responsibility" doesn't mean "the archivist MUST take responsibility" in the law. But every lawyer who deals with legal language knows shall = must. The legislators would have used the word "may", if they meant it to be optional. This is something students are supposed to learn very early in law school.

Can it happen in America? abso-frakking-lutly!!! Do you think it's going to happen? abso-frakking-lutly!!! Why would a bunch of people who delusionally believe the evidence of numerous recounts and audits of ballots cast from several states is wrong and there was massive voter fraud committed by a large conspiracy of Democrats and anti-Trumpers to steal an election, find the wherewithal to be elected to or appointed to election boards which have the ultimate power to accept or reject votes cast and then not follow through with their delusional intent to reinstall Trump as occupant of the WH??? Of course these people will throw out as many votes as necessary for Trump to win. Listen to these people speak as they say they would have thrown out the votes in 2020. Did Trump leave the Whitehouse? Not because he voluntarily wanted to, because his aides drug him out. They didn't pack up until just days before the inauguration. Despite the bank robbers while in the bank saying give me the money and then walked out without the money, does not mean they had no intention of robbing the bank. Trump can't get reelected no matter how much he still wants to be president. LOL ..... ROFLMAO The infrastructure is in place .... it is populated with devout Trumpers willing to die for their savior .... so will they find the votes necessary for Trump to win? You betcha

the courts have no mechanism to enforce the court orders Montana is openly defying a court order. Can't happen in America .... really????? Believe it .... I guess the use of harsh language will make those mean nasty Republicans come to their senses Now as for the other ..... can't happen in America segment .... some 19 Republican candidates are openly saying they will overturn election results they don't like When the British surrendered at Yorktown, the myth says they played the diddy, "The world turned upside down". Well I am here to type it .... the old order is gone .... can't happen in America is ancient history, because it is happening as I type .... the world has certainly turned upside down

You betcha Ah, we have a firm conviction that DJT will be elected president in 2024. You betcha? $100...collectible at the end of the Republican primaries or at any point you wish to concede he will not be a candidate. Payouts go into the tip jar at the top of the page to keep the website running.

Weird that Trump says at rallies and on social media that he declassified docs, nary a mention of doing so in his court filings on the topic.

I think people forget Trump is a narcissist. In his delusional world he may believe he waved a metaphorical wand and declassified documents. In the real world, it would have required a lengthy bureaucratic process, full of nasty paperwork to actually declassify anything.
When Trump became occupant of WH, I believe I typed Rep Pelosi should get the best psychological analysis of Trump and use it as a guide to deal with him (and it appears Gen Kelley did just that). I suspect if his attorneys have any snap at all they would have done the same. They would have recognized he is delusional and acted accordingly, ergo no mention of stolen elections or declassifications.

I guess you aren't taking me up on that bet?
I'll lower the amount if it's too much. A fella oughta have enough conviction in his words to put a little skin behind them (and help ReaderRant stay online)
It's easier for Trump to convince rallygoers than it is for him to convince a court of law. It's just that simple. He'll tell his lies to anyone who will believe them, judges aren't so gullible.

There is no mention of the “declassified” stolen docs in the court briefings simply points out that the statement is not true, because court briefs are signed under penalty of perjury,

…judges aren't so gullible. Either Aileen Cannon is, or she’s destroying her career for a known criminal narcissist.
