. They’re not rejecting or embracing anything. Just voting their own personal situation. .

Isn't that kind of what voting is for and how it works? I have tremendous empathy for the struggles of others and hope only the best for all of them.

But when I vote it's going to be my own struggles that determine my vote.

Do I have to reject or embrace aggressive partisan jingoism just because I don't like one guy or another?

The DoJ is issuing subpoenas in the J6 attack:

I guess the DoJ could be faulted for their slow subpoenaing of Trump's MAGAts and giving them a false sense of security.

The subpoenas are a good indication that the grand jury is busy, and the seizures that the DoJ is getting close. Trump world will have to start meeting on golf courses to plan their strategy.

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

There is something called grand jury immunity. One can only wonder if any of those get that and, if they do, does anybody get told about it? Apparently its given to witnesses who spill the goods, those who don't, don't.

Kinda interesting!

Just a reminder .... there are only three qualifications for a legally elected occupant of the WH ... there is no prohibition for those who have been indicted for any crime .... there is no prohibition for someone convicted of a crime .... and it is unknown if an occupant of the WH can pardon themself

Trump will become the first to win that distinction ... win an election after indictment, imprisonment, and following oath of fealty to himself .... auto-pardon for crimes against the US

America ... who knew crime pays

You mean like the meeting Trump held at his Virginia Club on MO 09/12/22 where the entire group didn't have any golf clubs per Yahoo! News?

Although I think that there were nefarious undertakings going on during Trump's excursion to D.C., I think this was a meeting about his failing golf course. Of the folks identified in the photo, most are employees of the course, and the other activities in other photos seem to be about the course itself. The fellow in the red shirt is carrying marker flags - which I suspect are to identify points that need fixing on the course.

Just my take. I could be wrong.

America ... who knew crime pays

Almost every criminal in America knows that crime pays. A few others are in jail. They'll be more careful next time.

Your mama just told you that to keep you out of trouble.

I guess you believe there is some virtue to being a criminal. Like to hear it.

Leaked texts show Mark Meadows was ...ive who plotted to seize voting machines

Text messages obtained by CNN show that former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in late 2020 was in direct contact with a pro-Trump operative who was plotting to seize voting machines from key swing states.

Specifically, the texts show that Meadows was receiving texts from Phil Waldron, a conspiracy theorist who was a top advocate for having Trump seize voting machines so that they could be inspected for purported foreign tampering.
