I suspect most of their party feel the same way!! Of course Republicans want to control the Senate, and by extension government, on their march towards American Fascism where they are in control. Trumpists and Republican-fascists of the MAGAverse have constructed an alternate reality in which the basic understanding of facts and truth - and also the meaning of democracy and freedom - have been debased and distorted. Fascism is fueled by such "alternative facts," and malignant realities. This fracture is something that Republicans aim to exploit and to further advance in the future.

I suspect most of their party feel the same way!! Of course Republicans want to control the Senate, and by extension government, on their march towards American Fascism where they are in control. Trumpists and Republican-fascists of the MAGAverse have constructed an alternate reality in which the basic understanding of facts and truth - and also the meaning of democracy and freedom - have been debased and distorted. Fascism is fueled by such "alternative facts," and malignant realities. This fracture is something that Republicans aim to exploit and to further advance in the future. We should not HAVE to fear a party majority in Congress. The reason so many do is because that party is now openly expressing their contempt for democracy, for elections, for any form of opposition. They are fully engaged in an authoritarian mindset that demands loyalty to the party, not the country, at any cost. And that party is fully aligned with the government of a known hostile foreign adversary which is now threatening nuclear annihilation.
