Politics as usual because this has all happened before.
It happened in the 30s, it happened in the 60s, it happened in the 90s, it's happening now as we approach the 30s again. There was even a similar pandemic
And I point once again to the fates of both the Nazi and Fascist leaders, fates which seem to await most dictators, whether malevolent or benevolent. Trump will be damned lucky if he stays out of jail at this point, but he's too much of a coward to blow his brains out.
And if you aren't aware of Mussolini's fate I'll let you Google it yourself. It isn't pretty.

By the way, are you of the opinion that all these nations who have been burned down by such excesses all recover and that life in those places goes back to normal again?
Ever talk to the families of people impacted BY those excesses?
The only reason I grew up here instead of in Germany is because fascism ripped apart the life savings of my father's family, twenty-five million Marks in gold. That's about a half billion in today's money.
Had it not been for Hitler I'd have never made it here at all and I'd have probably grown up in Frankfurt in a home the size of a city block with a private lake out back.
Just like my Dad did.
