I am one of the opinion that the war in Ukraine is a proxy war between the liberal-democratic west and the return of Stalinism in the East. At present, the West is winning that contest, but the West is being undermined from within by fascist parties. Some such parties are unapologetic, and others pretend not to be so, but have all the trappings.
Because it is a proxy war (at present), it is important that we take it seriously, and do our best to ensure that the forces of liberal democracy prevail.

Never saw this thread in the current topics.
As I have written before, what was supposed happen in 2020 was Trump would get re-elected, pull out of NATO and align with Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and form a new axis.
