Who is it that can enforce such rules upon the Supreme Court? The Supreme Court. Or a willing Congress might have impeachment powers. If laws were broken perhaps the DOJ could indict Justice Thomas for failure to recuse himself? Lock him up! The Democratic battle cry! Likely nothing will come of it, Graham has a certain amount of immunity, this temporary stay is just to give the courts time to decide if that immunity applies...

The DOJ could get a Grand Jury to indict Thomas for violation of 28 U.S.C. ยง 455. If they found him guilty (which is pretty obvious), there is no penalty specified for violating the law. But Article III, Section 1 says: The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office. I suspect a case could be made that willfully violating the constitution for corrupt reasons, is NOT "good Behavior".

Thomas and his wife are prime examples of the Republicans trying to thrawt the rule of law and the Constitution Yet, it's the Democrats who are "just as evil" according to some. I don't see Dems ignoring Grand Jury subpoenas.
