It's supposed to snow in my area this coming Wednesday/Thursday - looking forward to it. I love when it snows - its so pretty. Plus I get to work from home.
Growing up in El Lay as I did, the best I could ever hope for snow, was hail. A hope for a snowy Christmas always gave away to the reality of 85-degree Christmas days and warm, sunny Christmas just didn't cut it for me.
When I lived in El Lay, if I wanted to see snow, I have travel at least 90 minutes to see it.
After I moved to the PNW in September 2014, it was one of the early days of January 2015 when I experienced my first snowfall at home - when snow came to ME. It was so exciting. Me and Sammy-dawg were the first ones to walk around in it. I left my footprints, and Sammy left his paw prints. It had stopped snowing by the time Sammy and I walked around outside, and everything was so quiet and still. It was pretty dang awesome.
