The exiled Italian government's court had sentenced Musso to death but he escaped their clutches and made a break for escape but when the townspeople caught him they effectively carried out the sentence of the Italian court in exile by taking matters into their own hands.

That does not diminish the validity of the Italian court sentence but it underlines just how close Musso came to outrunning justice and getting a chance at regrouping and ultimately retaking some slice of his former power.

One tiny group of Italian townspeople spared the world from further evil by the fascist warlord.
It should have been the courts, but in the end they missed the chance.

A simple fluke of fate.

Mussolini is interesting. I know several people, in Italy, who remember him. They ALL liked him and blame all the bad stuff on Hitler. I always have found that to be interesting. Oh, one of the was the father of my daughter in law. He was a bomber pilot in WWII (now passed).

Politial beliefs should probably be studied as it seems, at least to me, to be VERY strange.

Ahhh yes, Repubs and Dems "Two Wings of the Same Bird" bothsiderisms.
Most commonly observed THESE DAYS by Far Left Shitty White Progressives who want to burn the whole thing down so they can rule over the ashes.

They don't say much about the Republicans but they sure do attack the Dems at every turn, and they even attack liberals.

Ehhhh, sorta not really because in the end Saddam was tried and sentenced by the Iraqi courts and the townspeople didn't carry out the sentence.
But yeah he did get hanged alright.

We have (or maybe at this point, HAD) one distant relative back home in Italy who always repeats the whole "He made the trains run on time" bit but then we reminded him that he also told postal carriers to dump excess mail in the river if they had any left over at the end of their shift so that he could claim that the mail service had saved money.

They are the accelerationists, or as Justin Rosario puts it: The Shitty White Progressives.

Oh by the way, Rick:

[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

THIS IS WHY #BernieSanders never had a chance.
Sorry! It wasn't #HillaryClinton, it wasn't the DNC, it was Bernie's OWN Democratic Socialists dissing him behind his back! I remember seeing the comments:

"Yawn, not a real socialist"
"Too old, too white and too traitorous"

Now here's the receipts, one of many.
Now that I know where to look, you can expect many more.
Justin Rosario was right after all, the "Shitty White Progressives" and the accelerationists want to see it all burn, so they can rule over the ashes. Nothing else has value to them.
