Note that neither the pundits nor the polls predicted a red wave.
You have GOT to be kidding me. The entire news media was in on the stupid joke. They were predicting a red wave from shower to breakfast to Afternoon Delight to quitting time and then they put in overtime. It is all we heard about on the news for six months straight.
The ONLY one we DID NOT hear it from was Michael Moore!
Your "technical response" about "what the pollsters" showed is meaningless because the word on the street takes priority. And that's because that IS the kind of news environment that's been created for the audience ever since Roger Ailes delivered his infamous memo to Richard Nixon, "A Plan For Putting the GOP on TV News", which set off the creation of MetroMedia, which later became Fox News.
ABC is thinking about ditching Nate Silver and not renewing 538's contract. Why? Because the Greatest Pollster on God's Green Earth can't predict a wet fart in a paper bag, that's why.
"Pundits never predicted a red wave"....gimme a break.

The possible red wave received a lot of news attention from January until July when it ended. Take a look at the graph below. July, August, September to mid-October there was even talk of the possibility of the Democrats retaining control of the House. I think one hears what one wants to hear. The Democrats were but 0.8 of a single point behind the GOP come mid-October signaling that either party could gain or lose 4-5 seats. It ended up with the polls stating the GOP would win the popular vote by 2.5 points, not predicting a red wave. The Republicans won the overall congressional vote by 2.8 points or 54,506,136 votes to the democrats 51,477,313 votes.
A wave election is indicated by one or the other party having a lead of plus 8 in the generic congressional ballot. R +8 or D +8 or more. 2.8 isn’t even close to the R +8 required to indicate a wave election. In 2018 when the Democrats gained 33 seats, they had a D +7.3 and won by 8.4 points.
In 2010 the GOP had a +9.4 in the generic, they gained 63 seats.
A wave election is defined by the party not in control or out of power regaining control of the house by gaining 30 or more house seats.
Now I go by the cold hard numbers of the polls, not by what either the Republican nor the Democratic talking heads are saying. They’re idiots telling their base what they want to hear.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
I take that as strong evidence that somewhere in the phone system a computer is analyzing the voices and feeding topic data at least back to YouTube. My wife and I were just on a family conference call this noon, discussing upcoming and recent cataract surgeries. We finished the call and ten minutes later my initial YouTube screen included that video. I'm not saying the video was posted because of our call, because that was before we started talking. I'm just saying YouTube's algorithm for which videos it presents to you are affected by your phone calls. This has happened about five times in the last year.
Which is not such a bad thing: We are not gangsters planning our next heist, and it would be nice if NSA did monitor voice traffic for bad stuff.

Are you using a VolP phone service? (Internet phone as opposed to a traditional land line?)
There is way too much mining of personal data and monetizing it by companies. I recently ranted about my credit card company sharing my email address with a taco truck sending me a survey asking me how did I like the food. I am not impressed by what the card company did, and I do not like it.
As far as cataract surgery, there is lens replacement surgeries where it will correct for the need for glasses and as a side benefit - you will never get cataracts. This surgery is not covered by insurance and is 100% out of pocket. The surgery will correct for near and far-sightedness and astigmatism by reshaping your cornea and fitting a clear plastic implant behind the iris. It’s called lens refractive surgery.
I think DA Willis and Georgia will be the first. She’s got a darn good case that Trump and his cronies tried to interfere with Georgia’s election. Trump, Giuliani, the fake electors all may be indicted. Time will tell, she has a solid case in my opinion. There’s nothing circumstantial about it.
