Fox News knew that truth and they chose to lie - over, and over, and over. Fox chose guests they knew were lying. Fox allowed story meetings promoting a massive, dangerous lie that reduced faith and belief in the American election system by their viewers. The entire top level of Fox management knew their lies were leading to danger for this country and those lies culminated in J6 - but Fox News didn't care. Why? This was all about Fox's financial bottom line. Greed will do that!

More and more shocking revelations are coming from Rupert Murchdoch's sworn testimony in the Dominion v Fox News lawsuit. Among them: - Confessed that he helped Donald Trump cheat during the 2020 election.
- He provided Jared Kushner confidential information about Joe Biden’s ads, the kind of information that Trump had to rely on Russian spies to obtain from Hillary in 2016.
During Trump’s campaign, Rupert provided Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor,Jared Kushner, with Fox confidential information about Biden’s ads, along with debate strategy. Ex.600, R.Murdoch 210:6-9; 213:17-20; Ex.603 (providing Kushner a preview of Biden’s ads before they were public). Clearly Fox News and Trump were (still are?) in a symbiotic relationship. Fox gets rich on advertising revenue from their conservative captive audience, while at the same time, using the platform to rile up the captive audience AND to help elect politicians who will tilt the laws in favor of the rich, while riling up captive audience by going on Fox shows with anecdotes that are less than true. Get richer on more captive and riled up audience from more advertising revenue - it’s all fun and games (worth billions of dollars) until someone loses a country.

Fox is also enriching themselves with YOUR contribution, too. It doesn't matter if you've never tuned in once, either. If you have satellite or cable, you are required to pay for Fox News Channel with a premium that is tacked onto your bill. Your cable or satellite TV provider pays a subscriber fee to carry Fox News. That cost is passed directly on to YOU.
Every network charges cable and satellite providers a small fee per subscriber; the one for Fox News is extraordinarily high. A typical household pays Fox News almost $2 per month—about $20 per year— via their cable or satellite provider, regardless of whether they actually watch the channel.
In 2023, a wave of big contracts between Fox News and TV providers for subscriber fees are set to expire. These contracts make up a major source of Fox News’ subscriber fee revenue. If we want to stop paying the "Fox fee," now is the time to act. https://unfoxmycablebox.com

Never in the history of television - especially television news - has there been such obvious lying, not by a particular anchor, not by a particular show, but a conspiracy by an entire network to lie and knowingly lie about an issue that affected the public.
This should concern every decent American.
This lying probably happens all the time at Fox but there has only been clear-cut evidence recently of Fox lying to its viewers. Is this just another example of a corporation where the ends justify the means? Is the SCOTUS in on this too with their 2010 Citizens United ruling? Has the goal become to lie and fib to make a profit? Do corporations knowingly lie to serve a larger objective? Or is Fox News a one-off?
Fox News should be treated the way Alex Jones and other disinformation outlets that are known for misconstruing the truth are treated. These disinformation outlets are destructive, dangerous political operations, and that's the part where we all have to act accordingly - to start treating these disinformation outlets like pariahs.
It seems that Rwing media's goal is to carefully craft a "news story" to manipulate and stroke fear and hatred. Fox's motto, if they are honest should be: "We deceive. You believe."
I suspect that It's not just about money for Fox News. They're also doing it for power. Power that they use and operationalize to drive change, not just in policy, but in our culture, and in our country.
How is the GOP any different from any of these disinformation outlets? The GOP have become a front for a terrorist organization called MAGA with its lies and stroking fear and hatred in their quest for power to control the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of U.S. Government.

As many know, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy provided Fox News with over 41,000 hours of video surveillance of J6. Vile and loathsome human being, Tucker Carlson is the the first out of the Fox News gate with selectively edited video of J6, with his own narration of a self-produced 6-minute video clip, rewriting history of the event, suggesting the attempted J6 coup was merely a tourist jaunt. To add insult to injury, criminal Donald Trump then demanded that all of the J6 detainees be released based upon Carlson's lying 6-minute video clip. These people are craven and very dangerous and detrimental to our democracy.
