So...what do you imagine that score is with The Grin from Plains?

I'd say his risk score is probably pretty low.
And I would also imagine that the scores for both Biden and Trump are probably pretty high, like Obama's once was.
I would guess Obama's risk score is still high but not nearly as high as it used to be in the early days of the Trump administration.

Biden's score is going to remain super high until MAGA is a footnote in history and Putin is cold and in the ground.

Yes, Jimmy was president in a completely different political era than today. The animosity and hatred from one party toward the other wasn’t there back then. The huge ideological divide wasn’t there either. We didn’t have the polarization we have today. Carter in a way is the forgotten president. The threat assessment has to be very low against Jimmy. I think the threat assessment against Bill Clinton and G.W. Bush is probably fairly low also. But there’s always a wacko out there. It has to be very high for Trump and Biden mainly because they’re very active politically. The threat assessment against Obama I’d say has receded quite a bit since he’s stayed out of the limelight, been really quiet.

Jimmy may be unique as he could show up at a Waffle House without many paying attentions to him. Especially in Plains. Carter for a long time has been known much more for his work for Habitat for Humanity than being an ex-president. Much like Joe DiMaggio was known more as Mr. Coffee later in life than for his baseball feats.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

its true that Harris is not exactly the most liked. Basically, as far as I can tell, she is ignored more than not liked. I have studied on her a bit and I suspect she would make a pretty good president. I have watched some of her speeches and she tends to make sure she is not interfering with whatever Biden is doing and sticks to th4e program. I have no problems with a female president nor her as president. I also doubt that Biden would swap her out unless she requested it.

Like most of the stuff here, time will tell and we all get to find out in the end unless we end before anything happens.

For the past few weeks I have been busy trying to pass kidney stoneS. Apparently I have managed to make the possibility of sitting in a tub of water and letter that get rid of them won't work for me this time around. Between heat on pain and drugs have pretty much burned me out.

Most of the time elections boil down to a beauty contest, popularity contest especially with independents, the non-political junkies. Who wins their vote is usually the most likable as a person or in some cases, the least disliked as a person. You can throw in being a charismatic candidate also where independents are concerned. Whether or not a candidate would make a good or bad president doesn’t enter the equation.I think Harris just doesn’t have that personality that would lead to a successful election campaign. Which means I doubt she could attract and win the independent vote. She may make a very effective president, but she seems to rub folks the wrong way. To be a good president, first one must get elected. Today that means winning the independent vote. Independents view of Harris, 29% favorable/58% unfavorable. As I stated many times, history has shown folks usually won’t vote for someone they dislike.

Pretty sure the 2022 midterms were about a woman's right to control her body. (Ask Michigan!)

I have been busy trying to pass kidney stoneS.

I found ibuprofen helped a lot. When the pain started, I took two. A few hours later, my wife took me to the ER, and the nurse there was amazed. She said she sees grown men crawling on hands and knees and crying from stones. My pain was about 2/10 by then. Then they gave me pain meds, which they claimed was something like IV ibuprofen. Now I'm just off potatoes, almonds, and beans. I'm drinking lemonade and taking calcium citrate. Hopefully to never make any more stones.

Wife Karen just had her NINTH lithotripsy procedure a few months ago.
Listen, this is not a DIY thing...accept the POSSIBILITY that you might have to go in and have them roto-rooter your plumbing.
You'll be out in three days tops.
