The VP slot is irrelevant when it comes to elections. No one votes the VP slot, they vote the top of the ticket. Now who’s VP will be important if Biden died in office. Right now, Harris isn’t liked much, in fact, she’s disliked by a lot of Americans.

Which as I say is irrelevant as long as she’s VP. Even so, Harris has only a 73% favorable among Democrats which is extremely low for a person that is VP of her own party. Worse yet is her 26% favorable among independents, 37% favorable from all Americans. Even Trump is viewed more favorable among independents and all Americans than Harris.

Why, I don’t know as Harris has stayed hidden for much of her term as VP. But there are some people who just rub others the wrong way, Harris may be one of them. Democrats didn’t like her during their presidential primaries back in 2020 as she was one of the first to go, drop out. I don’t think Biden will drop Harris if he runs again. The reason, if Biden does pick a different VP it would be an admission he screwed up and choose the wrong person to run with him back in 2020. This is basically the same reason G.H.W. Bush kept Quayle on the ticket for 1992.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
