Trump is also charged with New York state crimes. No president can pardon him for state crimes, and the governor of New York state is not going to. So there is an excellent chance Trump will go to prison. He is also under investigation for the insurrection in D.C. That case will have a jury not so favorable to Trump.
Judge Cannon got overturned by the appellate court, and they were highly critical. So she can't really get away with much. If she's smart, she will recuse herself.
Another interesting fact: Republicans in Congress who claim violating the Espionage Act is no big deal have made it clear their security clearances should be revoked for life. That will have some interesting consequences.

Today's Republicans have the IQ of an earthworm, and the morals of a cheater or a thief. The people can't see the forest through the trees when it comes to being self-aware.
These are the same m'f'ers who think that J6 is no big deal.
Here is a video about why Judge Cannon's random selection will not be a problem:
Ben says there is precedence in the 11th circuit that a judge who has shown bias in a case should recuse. If she doesn't do it voluntarily, the 11th circuit will do it directly. They actually DID this already when she was screwing with the case to begin with, and they said she was interfering and had no jurisdiction. Because of that, she has demonstrated her bias already. So don't be surprised when the case is reassigned to another judge.
Like I said, if she's smart she will recuse immediately instead of waiting to get reamed out by the 11th circuit again.
I think Trump has much less support among Republican politicians than they claim. Yes, they have to appear to support Trump to try to get his base to vote for them. But it's pretty obvious they expect him to either drop out or get forced out before the primaries. That's why a bunch of them have announced their own run for President. They are actually rubbing their hands in glee now that his indictment is out.
If Trump is not on the ballot, I think a lot of Trumpers will just stay home on election day out of grief, anger, or disgust. Why would they vote for Republicans, who have little to do with Trumpism? Letting Trump actually run would be a major disaster for Republicans. I imagine they would lose both Houses and the presidency, as well as a lot of state races.
Other predictions: Loss of security clearances for anybody who publicly claims violation of the Espionage Act is no big deal. Indictments for a whole bunch of people in the conspiracy to overthrow the 2020 election. New Democratic majorities change Senate rules so they can restore the rights of pregnant women and include a "don't touch" clause for the Supreme Court. (Which they have the right to do.) New law that forces the Supreme Court to obey ethics rules. In general, try to fix everything Trump broke.
