Many nay-sayers said that Merrick Garland didn't have the balls to indict Trump. Welp, with 37-felony counts against Trump, we now know that's not true.

The MAGAt response to Trump being indicted is just sad.
The MAGAts will never ever get it. Trump could be on tape saying, “I stole classified documents, and I hate all my supporters,” and MAGAts would STILL defend him. They wouldn’t know what to do with their lives without Trump.
Some of these people will spend the rest of their lives giving their hard-earned money to a traitor. They will donate to Trump’s cause. They will continue to speak out for Trump. Many of them have lost friends and family members who are disgusted with them and want no part of their lunacy.
Some of these people have lost their whole lives; everything they love - for Donald Trump - for the man who was just criminally indicted for espionage against the United States. How pitiful is that?

Judge Cannon got overturned by the appellate court, and they were highly critical. So she can't really get away with much. If she's smart, she will recuse herself.. I hope you're right. The irony is that if Trump hadn’t used Cannon for his antics last year by filing his protest of the Mar-a--Largo seized documents in her court, no one would know that she was corrupt, and she might have actually gotten to preside over this case. But because Trump exposed her in a way that gained him nothing, Trump really screwed the pooch on THIS one.

I never said or even thought the he would not be indicted. My thoughts are more along the lines that it doesn't matter if he is. In fact, it doesn't matter the evidence they have, the witness testimony, none of it matters. I seriously hope I am wrong, but I think he will never see a day in prison.

Fortunately, there is precedence for when someone steals national security docs. Just ask Reality Winner, Eric Snowden, Jack Teixeira, and others like them. As Jack Smith stated, no one is above the law - everyone gets treated the same.

I'll type just one word .... jury nullification.
Arraignment in FL ... trial in FL ... possibly a Trump loyalist presiding ... largely Trump district ... just takes one

Yet the Grand Jury had the very same jury conditions and found Trump guilty on 37-counts.

If a jury nullifier does manage to sneak onto a jury, and all the other jurors insist on guilty, then the judge will declare a mistrial. Then prosecutors will do it again. For jury nullification to work, all the other jurors have to not care and just want to go home so they change their votes to not guilty. A unanimous jury is required in federal cases.
Very qualified legal experts have looked at the indictment, and said it is bullet-proof. 1/10th this evidence would still be bullet-proof. And there are several more indictments coming. The Georgia prosecutor is probably going for a RICO case, as I have been saying for a long time.
One nice thing is that a few of the charges carry an elective office disqualification for life. That can't be pardoned later by a President, because the constitution says explicitly it can only be pardoned by a super-majority of both Houses of Congress.

Trump is recruiting his followers to show up and cause trouble at his arraignment. He might just manage to convince the judge he is too dangerous to release on bail. That is entirely up to the judge, both Cannon on Tuesday and whoever takes over after her recusal. One good excuse Cannon can use is that the Miami courthouse is about 100 miles and three hours each way from her home!
