Hilarious: Floriduh has passed a new law that starts on July 1st, that has all kinds of anti-immigrant measures, including confiscating driver licenses issued by other states and sending people transporting immigrants to prison for 5 years. These two might be a bit problematic since those driver licenses are actually the property of the issuing state, and the transportation measure means Governor DeSantis and his contractors who deceive immigrants into getting on planes or buses heading to some other state are subject to arrest and prison and not just on kidnapping charges.


This is a YouTube video about the obvious: Republicans freaking out about all their construction and farm workers leaving the state in droves. My favorite part: "We need closed borders, but my Mexicans are okay." Now all those jobs "they are stealing from Americans" are simply not getting done, because no American is willing to do them.

Two of Donald Trump’s criminal defense attorneys in the espionage case have already quit, which isn’t surprising. Trump has no defense to make and no chance of winning at trial, and every attorney knows that.

Predictably, Republican politicos are saying exactly what they think their own constituency wants to hear: Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Chris Christie, and Governor Asa Hutchinson, have all predictably condemned Trump in the strongest terms; House and Senate Republicans who come from far right states or districts are predictably condemning this indictment, and propping up Trump as a victim.

As always, Republican politicos will each do whatever they selfishly think benefits themselves and their ambitions. It’s never been about “loyalty to Trump” and it never will be. Trump was just a means to an end for them. For now, people like Mike Pence and Tim Scott and Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley are calculating that they can get more primary votes by attacking the “Biden DOJ” than they can by using Trump’s traitor status against him.

What does anyone expect from calculating, conniving, pathological lying sociopaths? Everyday is Opposite Day to these loons.
