Conservative Washington ExaminerWe do not need another four years of someone this emotionally weak and intellectually empty. Whoa! Are these people ready to move on because even they think Trump will #DieInPrison?

The base is not ready for anything but a return of Trump to power. They have everything in place from battleground states infrastructure ready to overturn election results when they do not go Trump's way, to battle ready "patriots" ready to storm the Capitol with the aide of Quislings from the House, armed and ready to open the doors of insurrection. You've seen it in movies ... the triumphant return of the wrongfully imprisoned cult leader. That's what they think and believe will happen.

Mr. Smith is a very capable prosecutor. Maybe the best one the DOJ has seen in a long time. He has sent all the evidence the DOJ has against Trump now, (instead of waiting until closer to the trial date), to Trump's attorneys for a reason. I think that reason is to give Trump enough time do something like witness tampering that lands him in pre-trial detention. That way Trump's attorneys will not file anything to delay the trial. It manipulates Trump into seeking a speedy trial where he thinks he can prevail.
This shows the level of the game Smith is playing: Knowing Trump can't possibly just keep his mouth shut like a sensible defendant, and that detention would drive him crazy.

DoJ special counsel Jack Smith sent a target letter to former President Donald Trump on Sunday specifying the crimes that Trump is accused of having committed in his scheme to overturn the 2020 election, Rolling Stone's Jana Winter reported on Tuesday. The letter mentions three federal statutes: Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States; deprivation of rights under color of law; and tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant. There is a certain very corrupt orange clown that is going to #DieInPrison.
