I think you’re putting too much faith in the debates jgw. What I found is most of those who watch the debates have their minds made up before the debates begin. They tune in to root on the candidate they want to win or are voting for. Very few undecideds will tune in. They too busy watching their favorite TV programs, their favorite sports team, doing other things. You can go back through all the polls, pre-debate vs. post-debate, the numbers didn’t change much outside of the normal ups and downs. The pundits, political reporters and talk show hosts make a great big deal about the debates. I just don’t see it, didn’t see where the debates caused any significant change in the poll numbers going way back. Maybe I’ll be wrong this time around. Let’s hope so, but I doubt it.


It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
