google "disinformation research shutdown" Which will offer stuff on shutting down any disinformation research. Cannot think of anybody who might do that!

One of our best universities buckles under right wing attacks that claim research group "amounts to censorship". Oh, that's just [censored] dandy... ---- The Election Integrity Partnership, a joint project SIO ran with the University of Washington to track false and misleading information about the 2020 and 2022 elections, became the focus of conspiracy theories that it was a front for the government to suppress speech it didn't like. (The EIP's website was updated in recent weeks to say it "will not be working on the 2024 or future elections.")

Fighting fascism is hard, but necessary. No mistake, this is the work of leading fascists in Washington and elsewhere. Miller, Jordan, Alito and Trump are traditional fascists and aren't really trying to hide it any more.
