The government has filed their response to Trump’s argument that, because some of the contents of Trump’s boxes have shifted during the investigation, the entire indictment must be dismissed.
The pictures in the link are really something: Carpeted bathroom with a chandelier. Spilled over cardboard boxes on the side of the bed where no one sleeps. What a tacky pig sty. Certainly not indicative of an individual with a beautiful mind as Trump self claims – but more indicative of a mind suffering from psychotic episodes.
FedEx installed cameras all around all sides of its home-delivery trucks to be shared with law enforcement.
In April 2024, I replaced my 2010 Ford Escape with a new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport due to replacement parts becoming more impossible find and get. My 2010 had no modern technology what-so-ever - not even a back-up camera. The new car tells on you if you speed.
I still drive a 1997 S-10. No modern technology either, hand rolled up and down windows, it does have a radio. You have to use a key in the door lock to unlock it, no remotes or push button unlocking and locking. According to Georgia law any vehicle 25 years and older is considered an antique. My S-10 qualifies. The S-10 is my second vehicle I use to haul things in. I also have a 2017 GMC Terrain as my primary vehicle/family car. Both still run great. Both get me from point A to point B and back. I’ll drive them until they fall apart. I have no intention of ever buying another new car, not as long as these are running anyway.
It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Replacement parts for a 2010 are impossible to find??? Which parts might those be? If you have the V6 Duratec, believe it or not that engine was actually designed originally by PORSCHE.
I have this distant dream of buying a 1965 Chrysler 300. I keep getting close and then some household issue wipes it out.
But I'm not trying to buy a show car, just a daily driver, it does not have to be perfect so that means it is a "parts bin car" and I can put anything that fits into service if I want. If the original engine in the old girl is in good shape, then great but if it's not I have no qualms about yanking a modern Chrysler LA block V8 from a junkyard and cramming it in there, a lot more room under that giant hood so pretty much anything will fit.
And since I only drive solo about 150 miles a month I'm not really destroying the planet, just dinging my wallet a wee bit at fillup time. The rest of my driving is with Karen in Miss Ruby, her 2017 Pacifica, which rides as nice as a Bentley according to a Bentley owner in the Pacifica owners group.
I'm certain Miss Ruby will last a long time at the slow rate we rack up miles these days. If I ever get my 1965, I'm sure it will outlive me. Those old tanks never die unless you leave them rotting in a field somewhere.

Hey I can dream, can't I? I do a lot of dreaming behind the wheel of my son's 2006 Scion, which looks like an eyesore but runs perfectly.

I can't blame FedEx, there are clips all over showing porch pirates actually walking up while the delivery is being made and just casually walking off with the packages.

I have no sympathy for a recently convicted felon who’s awaiting criminal trial for having tried to overthrow the government of the United States. NONE!
TWICE in 2023 (February, then September) my 2010 car was ran into while parked. $4200 damage in February, $2800 in September. Replacement parts were hard to find...but the job got done.
Mechanically, I needed solenoids replaced. Only one set could be found...had to get from in Tennessee.
Trust me, if I could still have kept 2010 running well and looking good, that would have been my first choice. I don't enjoy car payments. The purchase of the car is a whole story in itself, I'll write about another time.
I have a friend (lives in Shelton) He has cars all over the place, strips them down, and sells parts on ebay. He has, literally, hundreds of parts for sale there and does OK. He ships them all over the world!

My new car is 2024. It had better not need a part for at least 5-7 years. Ford now warrantees engines and transmissions for 90K. I purchased extended warranty to cover every part of the car to 90K. Also all oil changes and other services (air filter, breaks, break fluid, etc) is all covered. Basically, I should never have to pay for maintenance for my car until 90,001 miles.
Ah, my friend actually and pretty much deals with older, really expensive things. Kindofa expert I am told. That being said he has about 20 cars in his back yard right now. Some for fixing and some for taking parts and selling them. Its really pretty strange. People give him cars when they are done with them.

I might ask you for his contact info if the stars ever align and I get my old man cruiser. Certain parts are still easy to get, like engine and transmission parts. But you might have to search for a long time to find an interior door panel or some other piece of trim, or factory correct seats.

Lordy - he sells EVERYTHING there! I have never been there but, in looking, he has parts for Cords, Jaguars, ski poles, etc. Just have to look/search through it to see what is there. There are 9 pages of stuff. He started with bmw's and then moved on (his wife runs a huge black bmw he picked up someplace). Oh, he also sells a lot of cars (but not there). Just send him a message and he will answer.
Oh, looking for a car? He may know where you can find what you want. I didn't want to send you his address but, if you ask him he will probably give it to you. If you want to know anything about cars this is the guy you want to talk to.
When you go there you have choices. You could for instance search for 'shoes' (he has a pair for sale). Just try and look for what you are interested in and it might be there (you never know). There are 9 pages of stuff so its easier to just search I think. I had never been there before we started this but I talk to him all the time. I think he should change his setup, ie setup two things, one for the bm2 stuff. The other thing is that if somebody wants something they tell him and if he has the car he will take the part out and sell it. (most of them were given to him as junk)
Some may noticed mmy absence from RR. Just got out of the hospital after a six-week stay after a ;injury suffered over Memorial day weekend turned into a large abscess filled with bacteria, including a rare one that infected my blood and is messing with my heart, vision, and hearing. Spent most of the tume flat on my back with a medical vaccum pump trying toget rid of the various germs.
Came home last Friday but have been having a hard time getting up to speed. Amy helped me post some items during the time but i haven's been able to post here. I will try/
Thanks to those who helped during this time. They were much appreciated.
