Our democracy and humanity are falling! And, from what I am seeing, the dems aren't raising much of a stink. No one is! I know dems are not in power but they still have a voice. They need to be shouting to the media outlets about how wrong it is what Trump's administration (might as well call it what it is, Project 2025) is doing to our country! If they are already shouting, I sure am not hearing it!
Good doesn't always win!

I think the democrats feel, think by letting Trump be Trump that will eventually turn the masses against him. Harris made that mistake during her campaign, she thought not being Trump was enough to win the election. She was proved wrong. Outside of shouting as you put it, the democrats are in a position where they can’t do anything about Trump. Would shouting help? With the election done and over with, most have turned away from politics onto other things and won’t be paying much attention to politics, Trump in particular until the next election nears. This is just the way it is and has been. You have your 10-15% of political junkies who constantly pay attention and then the rest who pay little to no attention unless something happens that affects them that they don’t like.
Americans, most Americans are notorious to how little they pay attention to politics, the workings of their government. You’d be surprised at how many Americans don’t know who their governor is, who their representative is or who their senators are. Even less know which party controls congress. Four times as many people knew who won last years super bowl than knew who their governor was.
It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Looking at the number’s election day vs. today. Trump’s job approval vs. the percentage of votes received. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/approval/donald-trump/approval-ratingTrump approval and disapproval numbers almost exactly match those who voted for and against him. 49.2% approve, 49.8% voted for Trump, 47.8% disapprove, 48.3% voted against him or for Harris not counting those who voted against both by casting a ballot for a third-party candidate. How about those who see Trump either favorably or unfavorably today vs. his vote total from November. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/favorability/donald-trump47.9% of all Americans have a favorable view of Trump, 49.8% voted for Trump, 48.7% view Trump unfavorably, 48.3% voted for Harris. Not quite as close as is Trump’s job approval/disapproval, but still very close to being about as close a match as one could expect to get. It's a case of good news/bad news. The bad news is Trump hasn’t lost any support from November to today, after one month in office. The good news; Trump hasn’t gained any new support, he’s almost exactly where he was back on 5 Nov 2024. Everything Trump has done so far, it hasn’t increased or decreased his popularity or overall job approval. We’re just as evenly divided as a nation today when it comes to Trump as we were back on election day.

One can only wonder what Mr. Trump is going to do next. He now has the stock markets seriously going down every day! On top of that Canada is now threatening to shut down the Canadian electricity for 1.5 million North East Americans as well a a bunch of other stuff. Food prices are also going up. Basically he has destroyed a really good economy as well as constantly threatening our neighbors, citizens, etc. I keep on thinking that there is a point that at at least some of his enthused followers turn on their brains.
On the oither hand I also suspect that is simply not going to happen but, perhaps, Democrats might all vote in the next election unless they too have lost their senses. He just keeps on threatening, he threatens EVERYBODY. Europeans, China, Canada, Mexico, Citizens of America, you name it - he is threatening them with this and that.
If he continues I hope everybody has a good stash of food at home and if they have wood fire places they better get some wood when its still out there to get as well. Looks to me as if we are all in the deep stuff. I know that I have considerably less money that I used to have thanks to his cleverness. Betcha I'm not alone on that one either.
I just keep hoping that Perotista have a pro-Democratic report. So far, no matter what the lunatic does nobody changes their mind on who to support. The American Voting Public continues to display their lack of mental capacity. Its actually a little off setting to know that a vast part of America seem to work, very hard, to support a lunatic to their own wrecking.
Mr Trump, the man who has failed at every undertaking is finally proving that personal bankruptcy and destruction of anything touched up to, and including the United States of America goes south and his supporters seem to think its just fine.
One has to wonder...............
