The last few days of public hearings with Sec Noem and DD Patel have made it more than abundantly clear the Trump administration has no intention of following nor upholding the Constitution. I am sure when AG Bondi is at hearing, she will make the point even more clearly the DoJ has a major focus on retribution, as all good authoritarian countries have.

In addition to flagrantly ignoring the Courts and the Constitution, the blatant corruption, and I mean in plain view, of this administration is the very definition of kleptocracy. Trump is selling America to the highest bidder and he is one of the main beneficiaries of this theft.

Will there be anything to salvage?

gee ... once habeas corpus is gone .... they WILL be coming for YOU!!!!!

If they manage to force SCOTUS to bow to his will, that's the end of the Constitution and once the Constitution is null and void, in my opinion the United States of America ceases to exist as a constitutional republic.
And I am not alone in this opinion either.



And therefore there is no longer something to SECEDE FROM.
If there is no more United States of America then there's no such thing as secession, only survival of fifty state "republics".

Will there be anything to salvage?

I think not.

¤ The US economy will be in the tank. And, depending on how long the kleptocrats hold power, the physical, political, and intellectual infrastructure supporting a broad economy may be irreparably damaged.
¤ The US's international reputation will be in the gutter, if not irredeemable, then effectively so. No one will make any sort of medium- or long-term deal with the US.
¤ The US will be friendless. Having abandoned and betrayed its historic allies, and abandoned in turn by its transactional allies, it will truly be the US against the world.
